Some cookies are needed for the site to work properly, so they're set without asking. They don't track you around the web, and they aren't used for advertising.

For your order, the calculator and your cookie choice

These remember the square metres you carried over from the calculator and the postcode you checked, so they're already filled in on the order form, and the answer you gave to the analytics question, so the banner doesn't pop up on every page. The square metres and postcode are kept in your browser's session storage rather than as cookies, and are cleared when you close the tab.

Counting visits, only if you agree

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are read, how people use the order form and whether the calculator is easy to use on a phone. This helps us improve the site. None of it identifies you by name, and none of it feeds advertising. If you decline, these cookies aren't set, and everything on the site, including ordering, works just the same.

Paying takes you to a secure page that our card payment provider runs. Any cookies there are the provider's, covered by its own cookie policy rather than this one.

Changing your mind later

You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you switch analytics off, any analytics cookies already set will be removed or will stop being used. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings, although you'll then be asked for your choice again on your next visit.
